Rich is an operating partner at TruArc, working with the firm's portfolio companies in Engineered Materials. He currently serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of Matrix Adhesives Group.

Prior to joining TruArc, Rich served as President & CEO of Arkema North America, the North American division of a $12 billion global specialty chemicals and materials company operating across 55 countries. During his tenure, he grew the business to $4 billion in revenue across 45 sites, delivered sales growth of 30% and profit growth of 25%, and led 10 M&A transactions ranging from $40 million to $1.6 billion. Preceding his promotion to President & CEO, Rich served as President in various global and regional business units.

Rich received a B.S. in Chemistry from Bucknell University and completed the General Management Program at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. He holds an NACD Directorship Certification® and completed executive education in Artificial Intelligence at MIT. He currently serves as an independent director and Audit Committee member of FutureFuel Corp.
