Bill joined TruArc in 2023 to lead the firm’s Structured Opportunities strategy. Before TruArc, Bill was with Morgan Stanley originating and underwriting structured debt and equity investments in middle-market companies for various funds.

Bill’s prior experiences include: KCAP Financial, a publicly traded business development corporation; Falcon Investment Advisors, a manager of middle-market focused junior capital funds; UBS Securities; and CIBC World Markets.

Early in his career, Bill worked as a naval architect for Overseas Shipholding Group, where he helped design and supervise the construction of tankers and bulk carriers for their international fleet.

Bill graduated from the Webb Institute with a B.S. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and later earned an S.M. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Columbia Business School. In his free time, Bill loves sailing and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
